Private Locker is designed as a local-first private file vault. Your photos, videos, documents, collections, notes, app lock settings, and backup data are stored locally on your device.

Information We Collect

We do not collect personal data from Private Locker.

Private Locker does not require an account. We do not operate a cloud storage service for the app. We do not upload your files to our servers. We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising trackers.

The app may store the following information locally on your device so the app can function:

• Files you choose to import into Private Locker
• File names, file types, sizes, dates, notes, tags, and collection information
• App lock settings, such as local PIN or biometric unlock settings
• Trash, backup, storage usage, and app preference data
• Local purchase entitlement status for Private Locker PRO

This information remains on your device unless you choose to export, share, or back it up.

Permissions

Private Locker may request device permissions only when needed for features you choose to use.

• Photos or media library access may be used to import photos and videos into your locker or save files back to your photo library.
• Files access may be used when you choose files to import, export, share, or back up.
• Camera access may be used only if you choose to capture photos or videos to save locally in your locker.
• Face ID or biometric access may be used to unlock the app more conveniently.
